This activity is one that Troop 206 enjoyed in 2003. (and hundreds of thousands of scouts have enjoyed since 1945). This activity is fun filled, informative, and a busy weekend. Article from 2003 trip.

    All 16 Scouts made the 21 mile hike. Springfield is a great city for reflection on the hate because of our differences. In addition to the hike, they learned about the riot of 1908 and the Arch in St. Louis. The Lincoln museum was amazing. You'll have to see it for yourself! We actually made the local paper and may appear in the Boys Life magazine.
