Hike in backyard (Vickery Park)

Last weekend six scouts and four leaders hike to the Damn.  We picked a few musky dimes on the way.  skipped across a few rock below the damn.  We discussed the 10 essential.  Glad it didn't rain and it was a short hike.

Cross Over Campout at Hembree Park

Location – Hembree Park in Roswell
Dates – 17 – 18 May
Departure – Saturday, May 17th at 9:30 AM from Zion Parking lot
Pick=up– Sunday, May 18th , 1o:00 at Hembree Park
Dress – Class A uniform
Cost – $10 per scout ($10 for food)

Location – Woodruff
Dates – 18 – 20 April
Departure – Friday, April 18th at 6:00 PM from Zion Parking lot
Return – Sunday, April 20th , 12:00 Noon at 183 Office Suites Building
Dress – Class A uniform
Cost - $10 per scout ($ 5 for misc expense, $5 for food, Scouts should bring Saturday's lunch)

Directions to Woodruff (~2 hours)
120 to 141 (Medlock bridge road), Right on 141. 141 will turn into Bethelview after crossing over GA400, Left on 20 for about 7-8 milesRight on 372 towards Ball Ground for about 10 miles, Right on 5 – 515 which turn into 575. The map is good from here.
